About Us

Company Background and History

Founded in 2013 in the small village of Belo, Cameroon, Legacy CACOMEYU (Career Coaching and Mentorship for Unemployed Youths) emerged with a vision to demystify technology by equipping youths with innovative skills for self-employment. However, the outbreak of the Anglophone war severely impacted the community, leading to the closure of the enterprise. The founders became internally displaced persons in Bamenda, prompting them to remobilize their efforts and restart training in technology and livelihood skills within the displaced community. After experiencing further displacement from Bamenda, they settled in Bafoussam, located in the West Region of Cameroon.

Here, Legacy CACOMEYU has established a print house, a comprehensive training center, and demonstration farms for both animal production and crop cultivation. Since 2020, we have successfully trained over 200 youths in various fields of technology and agriculture, empowering them with the skills needed to thrive and contribute positively to their communities. Our journey reflects resilience and dedication to fostering self-employment and sustainable development amidst challenges, as we continue to support the growth and advancement of local youth in the region.
