Sunday Nee Bongyu Glory Ghaila is an accomplished educator with 16 years of experience as a physics teacher with MINE SEC Cameroon, pairing her academic prowess with significant contributions to her community. Since her appointment as Vice Principal of Government Bilingual High school Belo in 2018, she has been a driving force in educational leadership at her institution. In addition to her teaching role, she has been an Ordinary Level Physics examiner for the Cameroon GCE Board for 12 years, underscoring her expertise in the subject.
As a co-founder and board member of Legacy Cacomeyu Group Ltd, Sunday has demonstrated her commitment to empowering young women by leading training programs for over 50 girls in baking, pastry making, and the production of household cosmetic products. Her dedication extends to her work with Girls for Change, a Christian organization aimed at supporting young girls.
Her educational journey includes a Master’s Degree focused on renewable energy, specifically wind speed prediction using Artificial Neural Networks, and she is currently a PhD candidate on Research at the University of Bamenda, researching on Renewable energy prediction based on weather and climate forecasting, case study Cameroon
Sunday’s diverse skill set also includes training in gender-based violence issues and a certification in baking, sewing, and cosmetics production. Additionally, she is actively involved with the 3H Girls of the Cameroon Baptist Convention, where she empowers young girls and women to achieve financial stability through essential home skills.
Married and a mother of three biological children, along with three foster children, Sunday’s unwavering commitment to education and community service exemplifies her potential as a transformative leader, inspiring future generations.
